MYCELIUMMILLENNIUM

Imagines an era in which biological resources
- mycelium*, are used to grow objects
for everyday rituals.

*Mycelium is a root-like structure of a fungus,
a microscopic mass of white threads.

MYCELIUMMILLENNIUM

examines ways of manufacturing with nature itself, merging Biofabrication - as a method of learning from nature, and Craft - embodying antique symbols and forms that place the objects in a longer material history.

MYCELIUMMILLENNIUM

challenges the aesthetics and receptiveness of biodegradable materials.

The collection attempts to stress longevity and resilience and is integrated into a circular vision, where the material is sourced and returns to nature.

MYCELIUMMILLENNIUM

is an invitation to raise awareness of a potential

material revolution, and a vision of what we consume could match both the planet and society’s needs.
